About the brand

Pallavi & Karigars is a clothing brand founded by Pallavi Singh, built on the beauty of karigari (craftsmanship). The name has two halves: the designer and the makers. Both belong on the label.

We believe fashion is never only fashion. What people wear has always reflected how they live, and a handmade textile holds a whole world inside it: a skill, a household, a landscape, a way of life. Every piece we make tells the story of the craft and the community it comes from. We make ready-to-wear for women and men, along with accessories, home textiles and objects. Everything is handwoven or hand-printed with craft families we know by name, including the Vankar weavers of Bhujodi and the Khatri Ajrakh printers of Kutch. We design around what the cloth does best, use natural yarns, make to order in small runs, and record every hand each piece passes through.

Launching in 2027, Pallavi & Karigars celebrates the living craft traditions of India. We see them not as heritage under glass but as skilled work, still alive in the hands that carry it forward.
